Photos of Earth W/ Humans

I want you all to know me as much as you care to.  I want to seem human to you, because I am, indeed, very human, despite the fact that you can't hear me right now as I am whispering these words in your inner monologue...

I want to appear disarmed.  I want this because I believe that humans go about harming each other frequently over PERCEIVED threat that is non-existence in others.  I want to give everyone I am meeting for the first time the best opportunity to disarm themselves so that I might get to know them in some deep and relevant way.  I want to make myself a target.  I want to interact with every human psyche interested in talking to me.

I am interested in pushing relationships with other humans into the realm of the personal, intimate, sacred and profound as fast as possible.  I believed for my entire life that it took years to know a man as I would know a true brother.  Today, I believe that rapidly formed intimacy is an imperative we have repressed to our own detriment.  That detriment is almost too terrible to mention.

Pictures will help me seem more real.  All of them were taken by me or Jera, I believe, but for any official purpose, they're all Jera.

I am loving interacting with people online right now.  Leave me lots of comments, eh?  I love them.  Also, make sure to follow me on twitter (there's a button on the sidebar) and to friend me on Facebook (side bar).  And if anyone out there has no other way of knowing when my blog is published because they aren't that into computers, please e-mail me, and I will simply just e-mail you a link to each new blog!

Humans rule.

My friends and family rule.

My blog readers rule.

And.... Pictures.

Longmont has... a cool collage.

These are some silly business cards I made... a prototype really. I like them.  Will make more.  I give them to like minded people.

Moar.

Since I write... I need these writing implements.  And this tiny multi tool.  They stay on a necklace I weaved.  They also help me gain peoples' attention.

Slap Bracelet Watch! Boo Yeah! Jera got a matching one.  $10.

 Ohhhh yeah.

Other folks will respond to this if I am not loud enough to get them to hear me.  Good trick.  Revolutionaries need whistles.

 That necklace thingy again.

The really expensive watch is the one that doesn't work.  Yea, I wear them both at once.  Because I want to get people's attention long enough to get them to make eye contact with me.  Then I talk to them.  This is why I am happy.

Jera made me this bracelet.  It says "I Love U" and she has a matching one!  She is the best craftswoman I've ever known and is teaching me a lot about working with my hands.

....
That's what she said.

This dress is a sculpture we saw at a sculpture show.

This table is being transformed as a caterpillar wrapped in its cliche... more to come.

Finally, some buttons with racists on them!

I heard the ice cream truck... I thought...

 Two Friends, One Hike

There's something I don't trust about this dude's eyes...

Remember the other day when we were talking about love....?

I used to hate myself so much that I would make myself throw up. I thought I was fat. This was around three months ago...

Longmont has... huge mac 'n' cheese.

Colorado has the visual representation of what some cultures refer to as "the grace of God."

You know when you are listening to a rock ballad... usually 80s hair band stuff?  And while you are rockin' out, you just kinda have to... point at your friends? And others? To tell them: "this song is cool, and so are you?"

Peppe-jack cheese, tomato, Red Hot, Grey Poupon Deli Mustard, and onion on wheat.

This crafty son of a bitch thought she was gonna see about my steak.  Pffft.  Dumb cat.  This particular piece of meat was tremendous, BTW.

 Wish you were here.

Jera made a snack. Tomato, feta, lettuce, english muffin, yummy.

 I DECLARE WORLD PEACE!

LOVE!

It's a bummer when the ice cream truck isn't there, isn't it?

The throwing-up was about 3 months ago, or just the picture? (The throwing-up bit makes me sad ... so please don't do it.)

Lots of great pictures C, thank you for sharing.

The picture of Jera pointing reminds me of Mr. T ... there is a local artists store I like to go to that has a Mr. T shrine. Maybe I can get them to add Jera's photo :).

George: The ice cream truck driver in our neighborhood gives me free rocket pops but insists that I eat them entirely in front of him, without using my teeth....

Pwash: I wanted it too. I didn't get it though :-(

Bill: Thank you sir.

Meredith: The throwing up was 3 months ago. Picture was a few days ago.

I think Mr. T. was overly aggressive. Do you agree?

Meredith said...

I don't really remember Mr. T all that much. I just remember who he is (and that's saying something ... my memory is shite). But now you have me pondering.

I really admire that you share so much of yourself here. That really takes a lot of courage and I really respect that.

Love the pictures, Charles.

I also love all of the "conversation pieces" that you like to wear. If I ever came across you during a random visit to Colorado, I'd definitely talk to you. :)

I love your necklace, business cards, and whistle! I think I should get a whistle now so people can actually notice when I'm trying to speak. Oh, and I thought that your poetry reading in your last post was really moving.

Meredith: I have realized that there is an amazing potential in sharing myself fully as if I belonged to every human fully. :-)

Conspiracy Theorist: Thank you very much, friend. You are also awesome!

Candice: Yay :-)

Esteban: Thank you so much for your compliments and for leaving a comment here. Are you into poetry?

Charles! The space you seem to be acting from is that of an enlightened person. If you continue this (and I hope you do) your life will surely transform (more than it has already).
Your openness is appreciated, below human :)

I want some of your business cards.

Thank God you stopped throwing up!!!
Unique business cards, when do you start production?
God's grace is bountiful isn't it? We need to stop and pay attention to it and say thank you for it a lot more often that we do now!
Family and friends and blog readers rule ;)
As for getting in touch with fellow humans Ralph Waldo Emmerson once said "The end of the human race will be that it will eventually die of civilization.".
